Artist statement;
"The color, texture , even the smell of exotic woods is intrinsically beautiful to me. Providing me a virtuously endless palette from which to choose, these rare woods bring not only vibrant color but the richness of burls and dramatic figures to my work. My challenge is to compliment this natural beauty, creating a new vessel for its expression."
